Total waste of my time. I was on the phone for 20min and got nowhere. The person who was going to set up an appointment said they didn't have any but had a team who could help find me a doctor. When transferred, it turned out to be the insurance office who was confused on why I was calling them. Thus, no transfer to any type of help team and no doctor found. Waste of time. Don't use this place in my opinion. That's all the review they will get from me, I won't be calling anyone who responds to this.

Expect to be billed for services that should be free. Under our insurance plan, annual physicals and blood work are fully covered; however, this office refuses to code the lab work properly, forcing the cost onto the patient. They simply ignore insurance companies' established codes and policies. ​I specifically instructed them to only perform blood work covered by my annual physical, noting that I have no source of income. This place was great when it was family clinic. Now that Banner Health owns it, well, it’s a disaster. 1) they have no care for you as a person; literally was told “provider has other patients and that standard prescription requests are 24-48 hr; they would try”(when trying to get an emergency 5 day refill for a prescription that was misplaced during traveling). 2) You can’t get appts for weeks, so really they are only helpful for routine stuff. I’ve been seeing Dr Fretwell for over 10 years and now I’m being told this location doesn’t take my insurance, which is the best plan available for the Colorado marketplace. This is disgusting and the fact that they took my first appointment without letting me know I wasn’t going to have coverage… well you know it’s just bad business! Stand clear!

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. During my visit, they came across as dismissive and lacking empathy, which made it difficult to feel heard or supported as a patient. The physical examination felt rushed and incomplete, and my concerns were not thoroughly addressed. Most concerning was the lack of effort to help manage my pain.
