I went here because it's close to my work and I'd had good experiences with the walk-in clinic before. My issue was completely unresolved at my appointment, my name was spelled wrong in my chart, and I received a bill for nearly $400 for a new patient appointment. I have an HRA plan, and my bills are supposed to be submitted to my secondary insurance before I'm billed. However, they never sent it out to the secondary insurance. Made a New Patient appt online. Received a missed call with no message two days prior. Assumed it was an automated confirmation call. Arrived at my appointment on time to a woman at the front desk eating breakfast and on her cell phone. She (with her mouth full) asked my names. Then proceeded to say "We are not accepting new patients for another 6 months. We tried to call you and were unable to leave a voicemail." Bold face lie. Booked a new patient/ follow up appointment with Racheal online for 1/16/24 through the village medical website. Got the confirmation email and filled out all the new patient paperwork. On the day of I was called by Kim the front desk saying they were canceling my appointment because I was incorrect for booking online and they aren’t booking new patients till August. I tend to be particular about good care. So the fact I have been a patient for almost 24 years says it all! Deb, Karen and Tim have always been responsive to my needs and provided excellent care! Hopeful the growing pains of a new system and transition to the umbrella of Village Medical will be resolved and they will continue meeting the needs of their patients.
