Unfortunately, the experience with the front-desk staff and one of the medical assistants was disappointing. The medical assistant communicated in a distinct vernacular, which was difficult for the patient to interpret. Although the patient is fluent in English, the assistant raised their voice and behaved disrespectfully, rather than speaking clearly and respectfully.
