Today I learned that I have to do another audiology test because the ENT I was referred to does not accept other professional audiology testing outside his practice. The referring doctor’s office here should have known this information. I should have gone directly to the ENT and paid one copay fee! I've been trying to call Village Medical - or whatever their practice name is now a days. This name change is the 3rd time in 5 yrs seems to be too common here - but no one answers the phone. I’ve seen this provider for 3 visit now, and I wasn’t too thrilled, my 1st visit was great and I felt good to know that the staff and provider care for my health I saw Christie Mugerra and she was great. But my last 3 visits with Brenda Santos have been very disappointing, I recently went for an evaluation on my mental health, and was told we don’t do that here you need to go to a psychiatrist. I recently transitioned within the same practice from one provider to Nurse Practitioner Christie Muguerza, and I couldn’t be happier with the change. Christie was everything I was looking for in a provider, friendly, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She truly took the time to meet me where I am and thoughtfully added to my care plan. It was refreshing to feel heard and supported. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a provider who genuinely cares.

Well, they messed up my referrals - big time. So, I knew I'd have to call them but based on my past experience, I knew that would mean being online forever which in this case was 25 minutes and then they would either hang up or never answer the phone - to add insult to injury. Well, no surprise, they didn't answer the phone. I mean, does a business really exist if you cannot communicate with them to get the care you need!? This is not something that could be handled on a website.
