Totally chaotic and frustrating experience with this office and Village Medical in general. I have been there for a year and a half and both doctors I was assigned left the practice. Both times I found out by not being able to get my prescriptions refilled after repeated attempts. I was told they were short staffed, so unprofessional and annoying. I was so surprised by all of the excellent reviews for Dr. Irizarry, I found him to be exactly the opposite, rude and dismissive.
This company is ridiculously terrible and the people who work here are clearly mindless. I scheduled an appointment weeks ago for my son to be seen. The patiet portal doesnt work. The phone numbers they call you on and the numbers they tell you to call do not work when you call them back. The number on their website, leads to SUMMIT HEALTH. THEY CANCELED MY APPOINTMENT (WITHOUT ME KNOWING) 2 DAYS BEFORE BECAUSE THEY DONT SEE KIDS UNDER 18, YET IM STILL GETTING TEXTS TELLING ME MY APPOINMENT IS COMING UP . do not go to doctor Luis Irizarry, i went to him multiple times with concerns on lymph nodes that been on my neck for months that were growing and multiplying, and many symptoms such as severe itchin, fatigue, and missing my period for multiple months. Wanna know why because i have Hodgkin’s lymphoma i had to go to ER to get it figured out after being in so much pain … he had me wasting time with random referrals.
