April 3 2025. Recently , my provider at the Village Medical in the Walgreens on FM 2920 in Spring offered to do a telehealth visit rather than going to the office in person. I thought, "Why not?" Well, after doing another telehealth appointment a little later... I learned exactly why NOT. I was never told anything about the fact that telehealth visits often end up costing the patient vastly more.
