i had a terrible experience at this place. my provider left without any notice from the practice to alert their patients. i attempted to contact the provider/facility for almost an entire week to refill my medication (as i do, every month). i was told that no other doctor was able to prescribe my medication in the entire practice. for an otherwise healthy young adult without any real need for primary care attention, i’ve been turned away without any other helpful suggestions.
I used to go to the Village Medical in Westerly, RI until they sent me a letter in mid February saying my doctor had left the practice. Then when I called them they said the practice had moved to Wakefield, RI. I told them I was not returning & to send my records to a closer facilty. I then called them to get refills of my heart medication. They said I was now listed as inactive & could not refill the prescriptions. I reached out to my future doctor, who says he cannot prescribe drugs until I see him at the next available ap... read more

This practice is awful. They never return calls. I'm not blaming the physicians but the office staff. I care for an elderly woman who had to be hospitalized and spent three weeks in rehab because Village would not respond to prescription request from CVS Pharmacy for med refills. It's inconceivable that peoples lives hang in the balance of such incompetence.
