Be prepared to wait up to one hour! Although Dr. Maitra is a caring doctor when you get to see her, the office has no phone number and patients have to pass several road blocks to get care.
Great doctor -- TERRIBLE office practice. Needed prescription refilled (costs me $1600 out of pocket). Called for renewal on Monday. Took 42 minutes on hold. Finally talked with agent (in Texas) who took my request and said it would be sent to doctor but could take 1 - 3 days to complete. I explained the pharmacy has to order which could take another 1 - 3 days and that I was required to start on Saturday. Called back on Wednesday to check on progress and their agent Michael said he would call the office placing me on hold. ... read more
Arrived at the facility after receiving a confirmation text for the apt just to find the office is locked and no one inside... their call center is garbage and tried to say the doctor canceled the visit weeks ago... not buying it.... don't use this place
Horrible medical industrial complex. They sent the bill as a text to a phone. We did not click the link.....who clicks links to unknown text phone numbers? After 3 mos, instead of calling or sending a bill they sent us to collections. Took me 3 requests to get an itemized bill which finally stated the doctor's name. It was 2 pages of 0.01 charges and reversals until the billing code finally paid out for them....guess they were 'experimenting' to see what worked with the insurance company? Not sure how people working for organizations that send surprise, unagreed to medical bills like this one does are able to sleep at night. What a gross way to make a living.
