As a current caregiver here they make us work sick. a caregiver had a fever and was forced to come in and turned out she had Covid. They keep bad caregivers on staff just to have workers. Over worked under staffed and under qualified for the people they allow in. Residents constantly complain about food and caregivers not doing what they're supposed to. No supervisors/nurses in building after hours or on weekends you have to hope one of the 2 nurses answer during those times. My question is what happens if there's a serious ... read more
My 97 year old mother lived here for close to three years. It is always clean, the food is good and they managed my Mom's restrictive dietary needs. Here are always activities Despite my Mom developing some dementia they did not require her to move. The care staff was generally very good in meeting her needs especially the last days of her life. They ate not perfectly but top of line for these kinds of facilities. Lll
My lovely dining partners and I were greeted by Mrs. MH who was a caregiver for two adult residents at the Village Manor in the dining commons. Without hesitation or emphasizing quietly flaws with the service from this Senior Independent and Assisted Living quarters. MH proudly shared the high caliber of the interaction with the daily staff and the residents. Brought our father there for respite care after a hospital stay. He was released from the hospital 2 hours later than expected. Several members of the staff of Village Manor stayed hours past their scheduled quitting time to ensure a warm and gracious welcome. They saved him a plate from dinner since was going to be arriving after the dinner hour! That's what family does! Everyone has been patient and attentive since then.
