Village Lakes is the type of place that treats your pet as if they are family. We travel 45 minutes to continue to see Doc Rupert because he clearly explains every thing including costs and options. He takes his time to make sure our babies feel comfortable and are healthy. The support staff, Cathy and wife Lisa, go out of their way to make sure you have every thing you need before you walk out the door. I have known Dr. Rubbert for over 40 years ( we grew up together ) Let me tell you this man is the best Vet you will find. I live in Alabama now and still keep in touch frequently, and just recently he warned of a very sickly, possibly even deadly disease an older female un-fixed dog could potentially get. Dr. Rubbert advised us to avoid this risk and have the dog fixed. Well good thing we did because the dog did have what is,basically ovarian cancer. Dr. Rubbert is the best vet in the area. He has the wisdom, compassion and knowledge that all we pet owners want and deserve. I've known this man 40 years and he knows his stuff and is a very good man.
