I have long admired those who are called to work in hospice care. My husband was recently under hospice care with Village Home Health and Hospice for almost a year. Kind and so gentle hubby of 54 yrs passed away at our home sweet home due to Prostate Cancer last Monday, 8/11 and Hospice Team Nurse Shanti and SW Irma immediately came to my rescue. And assisted me compassionately and lovingly thru the process. My Mother Dorothy was treated with respect and dignity by everyone that cared for her. The entire staff of Village Hospice was always there to offer assistance with any need Mom may have. Ben was so comforting for Mom and she was so peaceful after his prayers with and for her. Marlaina was the highlight of her day. Her nurses Kim and Flora are for sure angles sent by God .
