No need to go to the city with a place like this right in Ridgewood. I've been to the finest in the Metro area and this is by far one of the best and most unforgettable restaurants around. Don't deprive yourself. Make this place your next dining experience pleasure. You won't be disappointed and you will go back!
for a special night out I really like the location (on a corner in the middle of Ridgewood's hustle and bustle). The building is old and nostalgic. I had duck- it was absolutely delicious. Price was on the higher side but worth it. PROS: classic menu CONS: BYOB
Changed hands! – Oh dear! How disappointing no where near up to the previous standard. This used to be excellent now it is as dull and disappointing as the other Ridgewood restaurants.
Village Green, outstanding food and service – The four or five course tasting menu for dinner is a real treat. If you would like to save some money and have the VG experience try the three course tasting menu for lunch during the week. I think it is very well price at under $20.
