Searching for apartments, we were approached by Village Green Apartments (now owned by Mills Properties after switching hands: " Where Quality is our Pledge Slogan" and " We love students" placards). Apartment Complex in Great Location Village Green Apartments is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield with a great location and easy access to highway 40 and 270. The facility of the apartments is very spacious, but needs some attention to updating old interior decor. The maintaince crew is extremely slow in attending to the needs of the residence. stay away if you can I have to agree with comments from Meredith. We stayed at Village green for a year. They increased rent by starting to charge water and waste and administration fee in the middle of the term. Before we moved out, we spent a whole week cleaning the apartment. However, not a penny of our deposit ($200) were refunded. They gave similar reasons like stain on the carpet and other stuffs, which were already there when we moved in. Nice place to live!!! I have lived in several apartment places and I have to say I'm a little surprised by what I've read here. I've lived here for many years and I have to say that I have been happy here. It is an older community and I do live on the third floor so I don't have to worry about who is above me so it is really quiet. I have a covered parking spot so I don't have to worry about parking.
