I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I've experience only kind, courteous and prompt service from staff. My building has an excellent cleaner. My guests love the guest suite... Location is great, our unit is great. Landscaping and playgrounds are phenomenal. My only complaint is the cost, but that is everywhere in BC.
AVOID THE EVOLVE BUILDING- the caretaker (Damon Johnson) has a history of intimidation and aggression towards tenants. I tried reporting him to Village Gate Homes after he screamed at me on the street over street parking (Just FYI, Village Gates has no authority over street parking. His behaviour was unfounded and out of line). and VGH refused to take disciplinary action on him. We have lived at Dahlia House for 4 years now and our experience has been very positive. The maintenance team has been particularly resourceful at dealing with issues that arise. They communicate well and are prompt. I’m really glad to have them available when we need them.
