My mom was the happiest she had been in her senior years at El Dorado. The staff really care about the residents, they have fun activities and lots of opportunities to be social! Highly recommended!!
Hello, it's a weekend here and as usual regular duties are forgotten. Wellness is charged with unlocking some exterior doors in the morning, however, it is rarely ever done. So residents are regularly lockout of the building. Residents ask/remind the staff and the answer is usually an excuse or deny it is their job. Some CNAs can't bring themselves to greet anyone nicely, it's the usual "hey", what kind of greeting is that? Requests go unheeded, especially on the weekend. Business as usual.
A really caring staff that is closely involved in residents' lives and wellbeing. With only about 80 residents, there's a great staff to resident ratio. Caregivers have bent over backwards to help my mom settle in and feel like part of a community.
I ha e always loved living in the ElDorado West but there have been wonderful changes in the past month or so.Linda,Mel and Tonya really go out of their wat to keep us happy and interested and help us love being here.Under the kind watchfulness of Lori Crow they have added so much more fun to here.Thank you everyone.great job

El Dorado is a beautiful place. The ED, Lori, is so amazing. She truly cares about her residents and staff.
