Lovely loo! – menu inspiring - so much good stuff to choose! In the end plumped for the wild mushroom shepherds pie - wow! words fail me but I know I will have to go back to try the treacle pudding + CUSTARD. Great bathroom too!

Big Fish – Blimey that's a bloody good portion, I'm a big eater & there was no way I could finish it! The batter was crunchy & tasty & the chips perfect. The Rhubarb crumble was even better than my Mum's & a bottle of Ruddles best took me right back home.

Solidly good, guv'na. – Very good tender flaky cod with great batter, but the chips were a bit overcooked and thin for my taste, (that's pretty arbitrary; I just prefer thicker chips). The deep-fried Twinkie was decent, but the highlight was the deep-friend Mars bar. It was AMAZING chocolatey yummy goodness. The decor and ambience were quite nice and very relaxed. Good Brit food at reasonable prices – We had fish & chips and SHepherd's pie. All the nosh was great (I'm a brit so I can tell you it's alot better than you'd find in most places in the UK!). Pleasant, friendly atmosphere and refreshing decor.

So So. – First impression's go a long way, and when I heard of the "Chip Shop" in park slope I can only say I was excited. However upon turning up to one of the not so nice parts of park slope I was a little let down, but still never judge a book by it's cover. But as an American who served in the U.S army and was based in the U.K for six years I would say I have a little knowledge of British food. Cheated! – As a fish salesman I was very dissapointed when I ordered the Cod and my partner ordered the Rock salmon only to find that both fish were in fact the same and not any of the fish that I ordered! My inspection of the fish, both in texture, taste and color I would be confident in saying they were both Hake. Good Brit Fare and Cute Place – Came across this in Park Slope. More "Brit" ambience than A Salt & Battery. FIsh N Chips were non-greasy and quite delicious. Better than most of what I have tasted in London. Fried mars bar was surprisingly better than I expected. A very light, non greasy batter coated a gooey-chocolatey-nougaty bar that isn't cloying or strange at the very least. And the Curry is good too – Better than in the Punjab. Highly recommended "lighter" fare to help save room for some deep fried chocolate!
