I tried to avoid a painful and frustrating car-buying ordeal when buying a new Prius. I contacted Village Cadillac Toyota because their online pricing and reviews looked very good. I called and emailed before driving the hour and a half to the store. Went there to buy new car, and instead was treated like crap, as they tried to rob me blind with my trade offering me half of book value. They refused to deal on the new vehicle at all, and wanted me to sign papers accepting $6000 for a $13000 car I own. As a veteran I can say honesty is important and this sort of dishonesty and profit taking turns me off. Just because they use Mark Martin NASCAR in their commercials doesn't make them trust worthy.
