Was way to pushy I went shopping for my wedding dress this past weekend. we had gone to other shops and had some success but still didn't find that dress that I was waiting to fall in love with. So that's when we headed to my appointment at Village Bridals. We walked in and this little lady who was older bombarded us immediately. She was very rude to me and my bridesmaids who came with me. HORRIBLE My fellow bridesmaids and I had a horrible experience. The owner has no sense how to treat customers and I would not recommend the place to anyone. Instead of this place try Glitz bridal. It seems less impressive from the outside, but the employees are A LOT nicer and know what their doing.
RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS HERE! I initially had a great experience buying my dress at Village Bridal. I was in love with my dress and the owner was so nice! That all changed when the dress came in an alterations began. The dress was way too short for my torso and my breasts would come up out of my dress every time I raised my arms. They never measured my torso when purchasing the dress, and turns out I either needed a different size or a different dress entirely as this DID NOT FIT my body type. A Sad Experience..... I have never been treated so terribly as my experience with Village Bridal. I am not from the Nashville area, but was in town for the weekend. The owner of the salon asked me twenty questions, learned I was from out of town, and told me that she could not help me. I drove hundreds of miles to try on a specific dress at her store and was turned away without a second glance. RUDE, and Does NOT Deserve Your Business I made an appointment with Elizabeth at the shop to try on a specific dress that my best friend picked out as her bridesmaid dresses. I made it clear that I would need to be measured for the dress so that we can place the order and have the dress shipped back in plenty of time, in case I needed alterations. Great service and beautiful dresses! All four bridesmaids, including myself, wore a beautiful dark blue Jasmine Belsoie gown at my sister's wedding back in April. The dress was floor length, strapless and made of chiffon. Loved the color! Dress style fit all of us and looked very flattering. I had to make some alterations around the top of the dress as it was a little bit bigger than I needed, but it fit perfectly everywhere else. Gorgeous dresses, great staff! I don't know what I would have done without Village Bridal on my big day! I wanted a Vera Wang gown, and it can be kind of hard to find designer wedding gowns in Nashville. But Vilage Bridal had exactly what I wanted! They fitted me, and even altered my dress for me there at the shop before my wedding day! The staff was very sweet and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone!
