Thanks Village bikes for putting my mountain bike together in a very short time and gave me the opportunity to ride this week end at Balm Boyet . Thanks Chris Levine , Craig, Zack , Ryan and Ed for helping. They are always responsive , fast and take the time to call and keep me updated about repairs or fixing problems .
A pleasure to shop at this bike shop! Ed, the owner actually cares about customers who walk in. At Village bikes I was greeted warmly and actually bought a brand new bike, when I was looking for a used one. But he was so nice and helpful that I would much rather spend my hard earned money there rather than someplace else. I highly recommend this as THE bike shop to buy a bike and all your accessories.

Village Bikes seems to specialize more in the road bike world, however, their tech, Zak, is an ex-BMXer. After getting my step son new hubs for his BMX bike and spending a whole weekend trying to get them laced we threw in the towel. I called Zak late Tuesday afternoon and he informed me that he could do carbon BMX wheels but he was about a week out. Axel did an outstanding repair to my 10-speed bike rear wheel and at a very reasonable price. The people at Village Bikes in Lakewood Ranch are very courteous, professional and prompt. Thanks!
This place was recommended to me but I don’t recommend it. Definitely a waste of time. Old register guy just sits on that seat guarding the register.
