My building has a short in the electrical area. Lights flickering outside and inside. Worried about burning this building down. I reported it two years ago and it's getting worse. No work done. Plus the building outside is falling apart. Manager never here. Never any bags for the dogs poop. This apartment is only here to take money from you. Fees with fees and more fees. Our building was literally collapsing (building c) stairs where completely unsafe for the elderly gentleman living upstairs, and in five years I know of 6 separate instances of vehicle theft,(mostly motorcycles) or being left on blocks in the parking lot. Oh and the ceiling caving in? They patched it up as cheap as they could, till codes came and inspected it. It was much better maintained when the previous apartment manager ran it (the super old guy who passed)
Rotting egg smell EVERYTIME THE HOT WATER IS TURNED ON and parking spots are absolutely terrible the manager doesn’t take care of them how she should. Favors older people. If your young they complain about every little thing.
My daughter is a Grad Student at NMSU. Villa Sierra is not the newest or a luxury apartment by any stretch. They are close to campus, affordable and very safe. Karla the property manager is fierce in protecting her tenants. We appreciate her immensely. Additionally, property maintenance is amazing and quick to resolve any issues. Kit goes above and beyond.
