Outstanding! Been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Tyler. Haven’t been impressed with anywhere. Tonight went to Trip Advisor and found Villa Montez. Best presentation and food I’ve had. Beautiful setting. Portion sizes are great and prices extremely reasonable. Try the Queso! You won’t be sorry.

Great food, atmosphere, staff and the patio is covered with huge shade trees to enjoy an awesome east Texas evening.
Not at all accommodating when you have a party of 6 or more. You are not even allowed to order off of the menu. They give you 3 choices. Period. $27 to $37 per person. They also will not separate checks. Not at all impressed.
Villa Montez is hands down my favorite restaurant in East TX! My husband and I have been visiting Villa long before we were married and still just dating when they first opened over 12 years now! From our first time in we were a lifetime patron. We no longer live in TX but whenever we are back in town it is on our list of places to visit! The food is always delicious and the drinks are tasty too!
