Went to the 10 year celebration last night & I purchased a Gold (2) armbands. The food was cold & displayed around the restaurant. $100 for chips & salsa & soup.... I don’t think so. I expected better service & food for $100. I will never attend this event again.

We're very sorry you didn't have a better time at last night's fundraiser for breast cancer research, but Gold ticket holders dined on entrees from the Villa Montez menu (e.g., chimichurri steak, shrimp, chicken durango, etc.), not appetizers. Food for Gold ticket holders was located at two food stations which were overseen by Chef Carlos, who checked them frequently. Again, we're sorry you didn't have a better experience, but our other guests made full use of the food stations.
My husband and I went for our anniversary, this was our first time here. We did not reserve, but we’re told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. We thought, no big deal. People came and went, 30 minutes passed, 45, an hour. Friends of hostess got seated before us, friend of owner got seated before us, not once, not twice but three times. After an hour and a half it became a challenge to see how long it would take them to seat us. My company had a birthday lunch here yesterday, 18 people and it was fabulous! Excellent service and unbelievably delicious food! Burritos the size of a large football and the chicken mole enchiladas are too yummy! They earned my 5 stars and we will be back!
Love it! Have never had a bad meal, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The only 'complaint' is that one year they had an amazing brunch buffet for Mother's Day and it was only the one time! We were SO impressed and the food was amazing.
