Very nice senior living in the North End
Villa Michelangelo in Boston's North End is not a nursing home. It is an apartment complex which was converted from a school. it offers low-income housing for seniors and "you get what you pay for" While the main building has central A/C in the halls in summer the Annex does not, so the halls can be suffocatingly stuffy all year round. The main building is fairly well insulated from noise, but the annex building is not, so you hear every toilet flush, every foot step. loud voices and even creaking furniture.
