I'm compelled to review only the laundry facilities at this complex, at least one of them. One wash and dry is now $4.75, and over the last few years, the HOA or the Wash Connect company has lowered the water level unnecessarily in the washers. There's at least 5-6 inches above the clothes with drain holes. Then they post not to add water. At times, the hot water has been off altogether for days. I live in this complex right now, and honestly, I’m counting down the days until I can move out. The place is old—built in the 1970s—and it really shows. The walkways are lined with overgrown plants, and from about September through winter, the whole place gets taken over by web-weaving spiders. If you head out early in the morning during those months, there’s a good chance you’ll walk straight into a fresh cobweb. These are the condos off Gilman/via Alicante. My experience has gotten worse year after year. My car has been keyed over 8 times in past year, hub caps stolen, and the HOA refuses to help install video cameras or light detectors, or help at all. I have also been trolled on here and Facebook by other owners. It is not a safe place live and there is no support. Dogs off leashes, nasty neighbors that confront you over noise, watering plants, basically breathing air warrants a confrontation. Homeless people hang out in the grass... read more
