Love the Villa, have loved it for years. Service is always friendly-from the owner to the waitstaff. The food is consistently delicious and the garlic bread and steaks are legendary.
Service was acceptable while the food was not. I've been all over North America, including Canada, and this restaurant simply doesn't match up. If you want better Italian cuisine in Marquette then there are two clear choices: The Pasta Shoppe and Casa Calabria, with the Casa being more of the full dining experience and the Pasta Shoppe being closer to a New York street-side deli. Both outclass the Villa in taste, metaphorically and physiologically.
