mediocre – The view is great but the food is just so-so. The menu is limited to a few items. The facility itself could use some sprucing up. This could be a beautiful place if they would invest some time and $ into it. The service was great and the people were friendly.
The view alone draws droves of couples to this unique lakeside Italian dining experience. – In Short The Italian fare at this old house on the banks of Clear Lake comes from the same family that runs nearby Frenchie's. Ravioli in crabmeat sauce, bouillabaisse, scampi piccata and snapper Pontchartrain are reliable choices here. During the winter there's live music in the dining room, and on the patio during the summer. Many wedding receptions are held here--sometimes the new couple leaves by boat.
One step away from a perfect dining experience – Service, service, service......they need to learn about service. I am sad to say it may have been the worst I have received at a place where everything else was so good. Wonderful food, wonderful ambiance, great value - but I question having a dinner (originally went searching for a rehearsal dinner spot) here again due to the service. It is a shame..........

horrible service - a let down – We went for Sunday brunch. The view is great - but the view can't make up for the horrible service and "average" food. We could not get the waiter to re-fill our glasses or even take our order in a timely manner. The food was ok - nothing to go back for. If you go, hopefully you will have a better experience.
