Very rude staff. Marissa in the wellness center needs to check her attitude.
My mother was at the Vi Skilled Nursing Center/Rehab for the past 6 weeks and the incredible care and support she received helped her recover from a terrible accident. The quality of the PT (Amanda and Debbie) and OT (Dipti and Sarah) was outstanding! That team works extremely well together to maximize results and with care and compassion. The Vi is a wonderful place for seniors. My wife and I moved into Independent Living and very quickly found a number of friends with whom we became close.There is a wide variety of people here so it is easy to find compatible people. The Vi has a wide variety of activities and dining opportunities, and good food. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My husband and I have been at the Vi at La Jolla Village for a year and a half. For the last 8 months my husband has had to be in Skilled Nursing at the Care Center. The quality of his care has been exceptional. The staff in the Care Center have been kind, caring, attentive and professional. They are taking excellent care of him. Kedra Markie, Social Services Manager, was unorganized, rude, and intolerant, and she upset my mother while she is recovering from bypass surgery. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and deeply distressing, especially given that my mother’s care and recovery are in their hands. This experience was extremely upsetting and unacceptable.
