Horrible experience with Marin Gastro and Dr. Vikram Malladi. Misdiagnosed twice with a serious diagnosis. The first time it was based off a single lab value and Dr Malladi informed me of this serious diagnosis while still sedated, just waking up from colonoscopy (which was unrelated). Rather than retest was I required to get invasive biopsy that refuted the serious diagnosis. HORRIBLE DOCTOR! Disrespectful, rude, and definitely NOT THERE when you need help. Despite being with his practice for 23 years, he treated me like dirt in more than one instance, refusing to prescribe meds we had agreed upon, like Imodium and anti nausea meds. I’m struggling in rehab facility now and he flat out refuses to help me at all or do his job.
Excellent gastroenterologist, having had my second procedure I feel lucky to have him as my doctor. Not only is Dr Malladi the nicest guy his knowledge in his field are of great comfort as a patient.
Dr Malladi is an exceptional GI doc. Very kind, thoughtful, caring. Had a clinic visit and colonoscopy with him and he was great! Called to check on me and to follow up on results two days later. If your looking for a great GI doc with amazing bedside manner he’s the one. So glad to have found such an amazing GI doc! - I’m a Physician Assistant at UCSF with Surgery / ER background so know it when I find a great doc for personal care and so happy I found Dr Malladi!
