We like Dr. Kanagala. The problem is with calling the office is that the front desk is rude with a total lack of empathy. The will not schedule an appointment. They claim they'll call you back, and weeks later, and additional calls, no response. Put in appointment request online, no response. We can't even rate the doctor anymore because we can't get to him.
Dr. Kanagala is well worth waiting for to have a procedure if you don't mind waiting in line with the many other patients waiting for him to perform an endoscopy for him. We did not get to meet him until pre-op for surgery but he was very thoughtful and professional in answering our many questions, before and after surgery. His deep experience is deeply appreciated during a difficult time dealing with troubling cancer complication issues.

This is Gail Bayard. I am Dr. Kanagala's patient. He us a kind, caring, wonderful doctor. He did my procedure and I would recommend him to anyone. AsI went to sleep he held my hand. We need more doctors like him.
There are not enough words to describe his kindness, and thoroughness in explaining the tests. He even drew a diagram of the pancreas and showed me where his main concern was located. I feel totally confident in his ability to help me. His nurse was also excellent and delightful. F/u care is excellent. Explains in detail the results of the test. That helped me immensely. He is very patient and thorough.
