Kreg is the best I love the Kreg pockethole Jig and the same goes for the screws. In a pinch I have tried to use other screws and it didn't end well. This kit is nice because of the variety and the case, Instead of 4 or 5 boxes, I now have 1 case to keep them all together. Each compartment is sized according to the screw it holds and they all stay put when thrown in the truck or toolbox to go somewhere. What a great product Within minutes I had made my first joint. I've needed something like this for years but didn't know it existed.
Nice selection of sizes and types. This set has most of the screws available for use with the Kreg Pocket-Hole jig. It's a nice combination of short and longer, fine and coarse threads. It's very neat and convenient to have the screws stored in the box. I figure I will just buy more of the screws I use the most to replenish kit.

Kreg pocket hole screw kit Just wish it had all of the screws they sell in this one. Great screws, and make sure you use the fine threads for the hard woods and the course threads for the softer woods like pine.
Just ok Seems like there is not enough of any of the screws to finish a job. The quality is fine etc.
There are better options. Go to HD and look at the GRK fasteners. They come in all sizes that comes in Philips, square or torx heads. I particularly like the torx head because they have as wide a shoulder as the Kreg ones, but they are a lot easier to join any object because there is no stripping with the torx head.
