Find another builder. We have had our home for three plus years. Issues after issues especially with the HVAC system. On today’s episode of $500 A/C repairs, Bills Heating & Cooling (Viking sub-contractor) covered 4 vents downstairs with sheet metal restricting airflow. Causing the coil to freeze and be damaged. Additionally, why square up the air duct vents? Let’s just install them crooked. Building a house with Viking 10/10 Everything else after you’ve signed the contract and your house is built? Worthless. During our walk through, we had a great advisor, but he just told us that Viking would come back in 2-3 weeks for a checkup.. nothing for a few weeks With no scheduling or calling to me ( a listed home owner) Someone shows up at my house for the “check in” to see how we were doing and just was ready for me to sign off? Home is okay no major issues, but I am giving a one star because Viking homes decided to build 3 story apartments right up to our neighborhood, thank you destroying our property values with these eye sores. I pray these wont attract less than desirable people to a neighborhood with alot of kids.
Very little quality. Seems like my house was just slapped together just enough to make code and pass inspection.
