Dr. Dembla was very thorough and straight forward, but was also very understanding with answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has esophagus cancer.
I am a 65 years old woman and I have been a cancer survivor for 4 years. I met Dr. Dembla almost 5 years ago. When I met him for the first time, he didn't exude "kindness". He was a professional who told me the facts of my situation without embellishments.. He TOLD me how he was going to take care of me. I wanted to "negotiate" dates, treatments, etc., after all, I was the ONE with "cancer" and I believed Dr. Dembla should have taken my suggestions seriously. Well, that didn't happen.
