I have had Dr. Aurora as my doctor at Texas Oncology for over 14 years. I have Neuroendocrine Cancer and have been thru a lot over the years and he has always been here for me and my family. There is not enough space to begin to give him proper credit for how he has always helped me. He is very caring and I feel blessed to know I can always depend on him and his outstanding knowledge.
Dr Aurora is a fantastic chemo oncologist. Everyone I’ve spoken too says he is the best in Texas. He has a great bedside demeanor and explains things in a manner that anyone can understand. If you still have questions, he takes the time to make sure you are satisfied with his explanation. And does seem condescending in any way. He truly cares that you leave understanding what you need to give you the absolute knowledge to make the best decision for you to move forward.
The empathy and thoroughness with plenty of time for concerns and questions was outstanding.
This guy knows what’s up. I absolutely just lucked into becoming his patient but if I had thrown myself into research trying to find the best oncologist hematologist for my situation I would have landed here anyway. What I love about him? He gives solid detailed explanations that are understandable without a medical degree. I have been a patient of Dr Aurora’s for for almost 14 years. In 2009, after a thorough examination and multiple tests I was diagnosed with CLL and have undergone multiple chemo infusions and now continue treatment on chemo pills that have my CLL under control but will not provide a cure.
