I all visits, complete / necessary tests are run to 1) confirm that there is still no signs of the cancer returning, or 2) get a head start on treatment if it does return. And I have utmost confidence in his ability and expertise to fight the next battle if it comes.

Dr. Aurora, in my opinion, is the best Oncologist in the world. This Dr. Is more than a great physician, he is compassionate, kind and caring which is very hard to find these days considering the world we live in. Great doctor. Welcomes questions and listens to concerns. Never feel rushed.
I have had Dr. Aurora as my doctor at Texas Oncology for over 14 years. I have Neuroendocrine Cancer and have been thru a lot over the years and he has always been here for me and my family. There is not enough space to begin to give him proper credit for how he has always helped me. He is very caring and I feel blessed to know I can always depend on him and his outstanding knowledge.
Dr Aurora is a fantastic chemo oncologist. Everyone I’ve spoken too says he is the best in Texas. He has a great bedside demeanor and explains things in a manner that anyone can understand. If you still have questions, he takes the time to make sure you are satisfied with his explanation. And does seem condescending in any way. He truly cares that you leave understanding what you need to give you the absolute knowledge to make the best decision for you to move forward.
