Dr Vigness was more than willing to spend the time with me to answer my questions and explain in detail the procedure necessary to repair my aortic aneurysm. He is one of a kind, always smiling and in good humor. His knowledge and personality put me at ease immediately. Dr. Vigness treated me 3 years ago for an aortic stenosis and aorta valve replacement. From my very first visit, I knew I was in good hands and felt confident in Dr. Vigness' ability and experience. Dr. Vigness performed emergency surgery on me a couple of years ago after an episode when I was about to be discharged from the hospital after pacemaker implant. He was called emergently and came immediately to perform my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone needing his services. He is experienced and caring in his field. You will have the best of care.
This doctor is unusual. He took the time to explain and answer any question I had. He acknowledged my fear and didn’t just blow it off. He reassured. My surgery went well and I healed quickly. He never lost sight of my treatment before and after. His visits to me in the hospital were compassionate and not hurried. He never made me feel like just another number. Dr. Vigness is just a genuinely caring, excellent doctor.

Dr. Vigness is kind, caring and a gentle soul. He genuinely cares about his patients. He is smart professional and conscientious. I have seen him for several years and highly respect him. Dr. Vigness is not just a talented surgeon. He cares more than I've ever seen anyone care about his job. Anyone he performs surgery on is in the best and most caring hands. He is extremely honest, even if his thoughts are not optimistic and he refuses to sugarcoat things (which is good). He will spend endless hours making sure that his patients make it through, even when they have been passed to another doctor. This man is passionate about his career and is the definition of dedicated.
