STAY AWAY!!!! Chinese scam!! We paid and booked a room. Upon arrival we didn’t have a code to access the key box. After phoning the owner he wouldn’t give us the code, kept telling us that we can find the info in our confirmation. We had no pin or room no info sent to us. After several phone calls we told him this is bad service and he then refused to give us the code to access the key box until we apologised!!! We had to seek alternative accommodation that evening. Very misleading! Its an extremely over priced share house with tiny rooms. Walked into the house to see other peoples belongings all over the shared areas (kitchen and living) and walked straight into our $170 room which is only big enough for a child. Very uncomfortable experience so we left straight away and was not refunded. It was the biggest scam of our visit to Hobart.
Be aware you're booking a room in a shared house. The (shared) bathroom was luxurious and the view upstairs was fabulous. My room with a "mountain view" looked at the garage instead. The junction box has been in my room and whenever someone turns on or off a light it clicks. Check-in and -out is via locker box, so you're flexible. The washing machine is free to use. There's plenty of parking space on the street.
