Started in 1990, The Duda family has owned the property along I-95 and began turning the Cocoa Ranch into what is now a new town with a balanced mix of land uses, including a variety of housing types, offices, medical and industrial parks, shopping centers and recreational facilities. The family new this long term project would take a lot of faith to achieve: thus, the name of the town, Viera, which means faith in the Duda familys' native Slovak language.
