I walked into the shop with an *open door* and the woman behind the counter told me she was on break and to come back in 10 minutes. After reading all the other one-star reviews I'm glad I chose not to go back after 10 minutes.

I didn’t speak out several years ago, but now that I see all the negative reviews about the rude owner, I feel compelled to add my story. I visited this store when my son was a toddler and I was carrying him in his snap out car seat. Because the shop is so crammed with junk and the aisles are so narrow, the lady rudely insisted that I leave my infant son unattended in his carrier by the front door so that I didn’t break anything. Yeah. I left immediately.

Owner seemed nice and said she would negotiate any prices. We were interested in a bird painting and my partner said it's in a rough shape. She then said "don't buy it" and told us to leave. So we said thanks and left. Very odd experience, and now reading the others reviews for the first time I can attest I'm sure they will be true.

If possible, zero. Rude and racist shop owner, I witnessed her refusing to show jewelry on sale to a South Asian woman and banned her from going to the other end of the shop. Meanwhile, my white friend was treated extra nicely. We decided to buy nothing from the shop. Wish I had spoken out against this in the shop itself.
