I saw Dr. Abraham in December 2018 after I had been very ill for 3 weeks. She told me I probably had the flu. I returned 10 days later, even sicker and told her I thought I had Lyme disease, as I had been doing a ton of research on my own. She told me, "if you didn't see a tick on you and you did not get a rash, then you do not have Lyme disease." She refused to even test me for it. Dr. Abraham took over my gender affirming care so quickly and effectively after I faced some personal delays. I was able to start T the same day of our first appt (already signed & had care plan with a fellow who graduated). She is incredibly thorough and kind, with a well-known positive reputation among Madison Queers.
