The service technician was very helpful and I have no complaints with him. He was very professional and did a great job. However, the company charged me $390 for about a 30 minute job. The part was even covered under warranty so the total doesn't even include the cost of the part that needed to be replaced. When I called to inquire about the charge, they said they charge $150 for the service call.... so regardless if there is something wrong or not, you are paying $150. Then they pay $160/hr for labor. The service technician was great and quickly diagnosed the problem but the Company does not stand behind their products or their installation. Victory installed the system for the builder and the heat pump failed because of a manufacturer defect only 1 1/2 years after installation. The repair was going to cost $1500. The company did not even offer a goodwill discount. I guess when you install garbage you do not need to stand behind it.
Technician left three dirty air filters on my dining room floor upon leaving. Additionally, and much more annoying was the fact that he turned on/tested my two A/C units on and then left them on upon his departure ... my windows were wide open. I didn't realize until much later in the day that they had been running all day long ... cooling the neighborhood. They sent me a post-service questionnaire and I advised of what happened. The representative advised that their policy isn't to set the units back to how they found them.... read more
