We were formerly California Emporium of Tattoos and have been in the same location in West Asheville since 1992. We are a traditional street shop with 1000's of designs, we're also happy to create a completely custom tattoo for you in any style you might want. I took my daughters for their first tattoos and I could not have been more pleased. Tony listened to what thwy wantes, explained what he was planning to do, and he constantly asked if they were okay. Thanks, again.

Emily Roberts is fantastic! I got inked from her on my birthday and she did a great job. She is very detailed and had great suggestions about the size and placement of my Buddha tattoo. It far exceeded my expectations and I just cant stop looking at it!
All these guys were cool as fuck. Reccomend making an appointment, theyll enjoy it better if you do. Make sure to tip to these guys, they are worth it. Pricing was very reasonable to begin with. Brody hit up my elbows for me. Really cool dude, great artist! Wish i could bring this shop out to the OBX with me.

Just got my first tattoo and I love it and can't wait to go back
I've been a customer of there's since 2002. Wade was the first guy from California Emporium to tattoo me. Then I met Steve, he has done several "Sailor Jerry" pieces for me, and a couple of custom pieces as well. These guys are the best "old school Americana" style tattoo artist I've met here and in Virginia. You should definitely give them a shot.
