Prior to 2 weeks ago, I have never been to a Victor Rico's in my life. I've been back twice. For fast casual dining, this has to be one of the best Mexican food restaurants I have been to. It is nothing like fast food and more restaurant style. Although you do order from a counter before sitting down. The food is top quality and comparable full service restaurants.
This review is for the St Helens location. 9.4.2025 I was craving a taco and a breakfast burrito. I took 2 bites of the taco and threw it away. Over the years since taking over from Muchos Gracias, everything has changed for the worse. The taco shells are different and gross as was the taco filling, it didn't even look like meat. I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Burrito with tater tots instead of those soggy fries. It is also supposed to come with eggs, cheese and bacon. Good, Mexican fast food. The enchiladas were very tasty.
Man the service here was superb especially on a Friday night when they were busy!! Angel did an amazing job taking my order and payment he speaks several languages including French which i ordered in. His service is thr main reason I come this place including the delicious and quick service. Hope Angel gets the recognition he deserves as well and the team in the back working hard!!!
