Left my key in my room. It was pretty late and the office was closed. I called the emergency number and it was answered immediately. Guy who answered was understandably unhappy, but he came immediately to get me a replacement key card. Took about 30 minutes, so he had an hour our of his evening for my forgetfullness. He refused a wad of cash and said it was just part of the job. Good service, mediocre rooms, great location.
No A/C in a summer day. But they had clean and okay rooms.
The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Rooms were awful, I paid a lot of money in advance and the rude from desk agent gave a room with no window in the basement. Three times I went to see the front desk for some inquires and he/she was never there to help. Nobody was at the front desk when needed. The so-called complimentary breakfast was a joke, take your coffee and nasty bananas to your room, no place to seat at the lobby. This place is more like Motel 6, cannot be called a hotel.
Cozy cabin is awesome. It's a little tiny home nestled in the heart of Telluride. I can't speak for the other rooms, but I am having a blast. I came on a Tuesday and had zero issues with parking.
The room was a bit small, and the chairs could use a cleaning, they were stained/dirty. The rooms are very warm despite the outside temps being 70 and below when we were there. There is no AC, and we were too warm at night even with the windows open at night and fans blowing. The property is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great.
