We moved in our 84 and 85 year old parents into Victorian Gardens in Jan. 2017. We've had some 'growing pains' with Dad accepting they won't be going back to their home where they've lived for the past 30 years, however the staff is amazingly warm and always willing to go above and beyond to help them get more settled in...John Paul's son even took them to the Catholic Church on Sunday for service! When we moved my 91 y/o mother into VG she was the 12th resident there. She could still get around but they did not look after her at her previous spot the way they do at VG. The rooms are amazing the court yard is just as amazing , they have all sorts of services available on sight. Mom likes to get her hair done every Friday and regular pedicures. I have been happier here than I ever believed l could be, since I lost my husband.
Victorian-Gardens is now considered home by my mom. It gives her the feeling of being independent but also a feeling of content and security knowing that there are those close by that are available to meet her every need. There are choices in each meal and the food is wonderful. The rooms are very spacious and with her using a walker, this is a plus for maneuvering. A great place to retire. Nice atmosphere. Nice owner who really cares about his employees and residents!
I stopped by to find a place for my grandmother and was ready to sign myself up! I felt like I was at a resort. Amazing
