We struggled with the decision to move our loved one into a retirement community. At every step of the way, the staffed were amazing. They answered all of our questions, accomodated all of her needs. The staff is outstanding. We could not have hoped for a better home for her.
Victoria Place Retirement Residence in Kitchener is so nice. We are so happy we chose this place for our mother. She has a beautiful bright room facing Victoria Park. The meals they serve look so appetizing. Sometimes we are tempted to stay for supper! The staff here are so friendly! From the nurses to the management, we love them all!
Our mother has been at this retirement home since November 2025. This was is the best decision we made. The staff at all levels are very caring and very professional. The cleanliness, the food, the entertainment and the patience the staff has for our loved ones is remarkable. Glad we found a place where we know she is well looked after.
First impressions: very quiet, peaceful and spotlessly clean. My mom has been here for several months. Despite (at 97!) not feeling ready for a retirement home, she has settled in. She likes the food and enjoys her tablemates. She enjoys the exercise classes. The staff are kind and caring and respect her idiosyncrasies. We chose VP because it can manage heavy care needs including hoyer lift transfers, so hopefully she won't have to move again. It has exceeded our expectations.
