The cake filling literally went bad within a day! I am very disappointed in the fact that the last time I bought a princess cake from Victoria, the cake filling literally went bad within a day. Give me a break! At that price, next day the thing was spoiled? 2 stars because this is usually my favorite at this bakery. I'm hoping on a bad day. The next time I go, I hope to not go through the same experience again.
Great torrone. They make their own torrone here that is great. The parking is terrible, so when I want some torrone I take someone with me and have them jump out and buy it while I circle the block.
Italian Bakery Victoria Pastry Company is a San Francisco landmark - if you want something special and delicious this is the place to go - all good Italians shop here - yes the price are a bit high but you get what you pay for - love this place -

Once i started working I signed no paperwork including a W-2 or was even asked for my servsafe certificate which this business has to have on file for all employees . During my first week of working there i repeatedly asked to sign these papers and to sign a copy of the wages i would be receiving. None of these were ever provided to me . Another chef working with me was using his bare hands to touc... read more
My grandfather was a customer of Victoria Pastry Co back in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, in the original location in North Beach. He would always get the Italian rum cake for Sunday dinner. Whipped cream, genoise sponge, pastry cream filling , garnished with raspberry coulis, and slivered almonds! It could be made with just this info, but do you have a cook book that gives the recipe? The best. When looking up the shop I was upset to see that the top of Google search for Victoria redirected/ hijacked me to various other websites... read more
