Dr Matt gave me about 5 minutes every visit to point at my xray and tell me "looks the same, come back in 4 weeks". Gave me no information or suggestions, no time to ask questions, I didn't need surgery so I wasn't important to her it seems. I went to OrthoVirginia instead and immediately got a lot more info, time with the doctor, etc. Idk how they can justify making injured patients come in for such terrible care
Once I got to the OR, EVERYTHING went very, VERY WELL 🎉. The Staging Nurses (Noel & Myeshia) were OUTSTANDING and helped me to be more PATIENT !! DR. Matt came in to explain the delay in the OR. My surgery was scheduled for 3 pm and it finally happened at 4:30. (I was dressed and ready by 1:30 and laid there for 3 hours). After picking up new prescriptions, I got home at 9 I’m scheduled for ankle surgery in June and will NOT accept an afternoon time because there’s always a delay 😢 as I was told !! Great experience as usual. Dr. Matt was able to see me on short notice. Quickly determined the extent of injury and a treatment plan. The staff were friendly and professional.
