I have never had a doctor whose bedside manner was even close to Dr. Barbosa's which I so appreciated. She is the best!
I met Dr. Barbosa three years ago. She is in a class of her own . Her skill set and knowledge is beyond reproach . She diagnosed and was able to recommend treatment that truly worked. She was successful in calming all my fears . Her personality is friendly and showed genuine care for me . I love her and would recommend her to anyone who is in search for an excellent dermatologist. Dr. Barbosa’s bed side manners are great, but most importantly she is thorough and very knowledgeable! Love her!
Dr. Barbosa was amazing, professional, engaging, knowledgeable and had excellent bed side manner. I was initially nervous and it is weird that I was even nervous seeing the dermatologist, but as soon as Dr. Barbosa entered the room her positive energy just warmed the room. I never felt rushed and she had a full house: it was worth the three month wait.
I have recommended Dr. Barbosa to many friends and family. All of them have had great experiences.

Excellent Doctor who actually listens to her patients. She is persistent in finding a solution to help her patients. If one treatment does not work , she will look for another. She is honest, patience and pleasant. Because of her popularity, it may take a while to get an appointment with her. But it is worth it.
Very pleased with my visit to see Dr. Barbosa. Dr. Barbosa was able to diagnose my problem practically upon walking into the exam room, after going for nearly 3 years without a clear diagnosis, I had given up on trying to find out what my skin problem is. Then another doctor highly recommended Dr. Barbosa. Knowing what I have makes it easier to sleep at night, no more worries. Thank you! Dr. Barbosa! Also front desk staff and assistant are very caring, polite, and knowledgeable. So happy I was referred to this clinic.
I have been a patient of D. Barbosa for many years. In fact, when Dr. B left Rush University Medical Center...I followed when she opened her own Practice on Michigan Avenue!
