On Monday June 22nd, 2026 I checked in and was admitted as a patient to Victoria Hospital. I was treated and discharged on Monday July 6th, 2026. I was only made aware of what I was being treated for upon discharge after reviewing my chart. I was being treated for conditions I do not have and after consulting with my own physician I was also put on medication I am not supposed to be on. I had to wait a few hours there, the health care system sucks, unless you’re dying avoid this place it’s horrible
I went 1145pm, got called 330-ish the next day. 14 hours wait. When I was finally called, had to wait an hour or so again in the room, then when I finally got attended - doctor suggested MRI has to be requested by our family doctor - why??? when I am already there in emergency, patiently waited 14 hours - that means I need urgent care - facilities are complete in your hospital. Why not do the MRI right away? The 14 hours wait was wasted as they did not even schedule or request for an urgent MRI or they didn’t bother to do it... read more
