My wife was embroiled in a bitter dispute with VGH from 2012 - regarding not only the content of medical records authored by employees (civil servants btw) and shared through multiple databases but also those documents provided by my wife used to correct the false, defamatory and incendiary rhetoric that were concealed including a medical certificate diagnosing PTSD signed by one of the aforementioned medical professionals - a psychiatrist. What I witnessed in urgent care today was unacceptable. An elderly woman fell in the doorway of the bathroom just steps from triage and became trapped. She managed to pull the emergency help cord, yet no one responded — despite the alarm clearly ringing. Multiple nurses were seated nearby and did nothing. Security staff monitoring screens nearby also failed to notice or intervene. The lack of urgency and awareness was shocking.
