We have lived in rural Cuero for over four years and are originally from Houston. We sometimes feel forgotten because we have no city water, very weak cell and internet service and potholes in the streets. The only elec. provider available to us was VEC and I can’t imagine another provider being better than VEC. We do have outages but within minutes they contact us that they are on it. You people think you have it so bad. I was a Lineman in houston area for 36 years go there and see what kind of service you get. You'll still have rolling Outages and much higher prices. Be careful what you wish for. I have no problem with them. They are a smaller company. That's why prices are better They buy straight wholesale. So a lot is give-and-take.
