I recently booked a stay at the Victoria & Albert Guesthouse in Mt Victoria for my visitors from Germany, and the whole experience was fantastic. Lona at reception was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating – she really set the tone for a great stay. The hotel itself is full of charm and character, beautifully renovated and thoughtfully decorated. Very large mocha cup, great chicken pies and drinks, location too good just a few mins away from the station

Only dropped in to check it out, has been refurbished and is quite stunning, gardens are lovely, plenty to look at inside the hotel
